More than 50 automotive journalists from different components regarding the United States evaluated higher than 50 different vehicles all from different manufacturers to vote on the Family Car of Texas Award. The voters were impressed with the 2011 Dodge Journey and voted it as the "Family Car of Texas."
Voters were impressed with all the features the 2011 Dodge Journey has to offer. The 2011 Dodge Journey is a mid-size CUV that was awarded an IIHS "Top Safety Pick". The Journey is versatile and can fit up to seven people and features best-in-class storage solutions. The second-row seats hold a tilt'n slide feature and the front passenger seat can fold-flat with flip'n stow storage below the seat cushion. It returns with multiple conveniences for example keyless entry, push button start, illuminated cup holders, chrome-surround tunnel-design instrument cluster, and a powerful LED rechargeable flashlight that returns within the cargo area. It also returns with Uconnect Touch radios, audio controls on the steering wheel, proximity keyless entry, and push button start. The Uconnect Touch system has a touch screen and voice command with Bluetooth. The screen is a full color touch screen with controls for all entertainment, climate, phone, and vehicle settings. The integrated Gracenotes database has Music ID, Album Art, and generates voice tags to let the driver to decide songs and artists with voice recognition commands. The single CD/DVD drive allows front screen video when the vehicle is not moving.
All these convenience and entertainment features demonstrate howcome the 2011 Dodge Journey was voted as the "Family Car of Texas."
